One of my goals in life is to give everyone an equal chance. For instance, I believe everyone should have the ability to have a fighting chance to succeed. I'm well aware of how we live in a country of democracy. However, I strongly believe that people of low-income areas don't have all the resources that high-income areas do. Yet, I feel that those of high-income areas tend to have more pressure for success as well. All in all, my goals is to somehow alter the system.

In a world with apps like Yelp and Google at our fingertips, discovering some of the greatest restaurant comes in an easily accessible manner. Whenever my family/friends and I are looking for a place to go on while on vacation or just a Saturday night, these kind of apps and resources come in handy. However, my favorite restaurant would have to be The Cheesecake Factory. Specifically the one located within the Shops at Riverside.
This has grown to be one of my favorite restaurants locally because it's a convenient place where have many of my friends and I meet up to catch up. Also, we tend to celebrate many milestones at the restaurant such as birthdays, holidays, and etc. Ideally, it's a great place for late lunches on weekends to family dinners. One may consider its prices higher than a common franchise. However, once you have a meal inside one can surely understand all the hype. Especially considering how there are shops like "Bloomingdales" and "Barnes and Noble" right next to the restaurant. Which is convenient considering it's a great way for some people so pass time.
The history of the chain started in Detriot, Michigan during the 1940's. Evelyn Overton found a recipe in the local newspaper that went on to inspire her original cheesecake. She decided to open up her own cheesecake shop after receiving such positive feedback. Unfortunately, she gave up her dream to raise her children. However, she did not completely give up her dream and continued to make cheesecakes in her apartment while supplying them locally. They all moved to LA in 1972, her husband Oscar and her made one last attempt at opening their bakery which turned into the chain that exists today.

Do Now Writing Prompt on 12/3
Out of all the curriculum available at Wood-Ridge High School, certain types of areas lack curriculum. Adding certain class could create a better opportunity of students receiving the most of their education here at WRHS. To be more specific, the mathematics and science department lack in curriculum. For instance, although we offer the college program for science courses like physics or electives like biotechnology or genetics, there should be the next step.
For example, instead of students paying $225 per full year course to receive college credits, there should be an alternate route. Like physics, we should expand our advance placement opportunities by adding AP classes for sciences like physics. It would create an atmosphere of where students understood the determination in order to excel. It would obviously have a greater work load. However, at the same time it would have dignified students.

Wiki Research
Aloha fellow bloggers! For those of you that do not know what "aloha" is...it's "hello" in Hawaiian! While we're at it, let's expand further on our Hawaiian ability, "wiki wiki" means quickly! Many of you have probably heard of "WikiHow" or "Wikipedia". Glad you've heard that little fun fact, now it's time for the important stuff! How exactly can we use a wiki in our daily educational career?
- With a wiki, it enables us to work in collaboration which is beneficial! To further expand, you could post certain projects or assignments for collaborative proofreading or possession of an idea!
- The benefits of creating a wiki would be to have other opinions in order to help your work progress to a further level of excellence!
- When having a wiki within class, we could use it on an on-going basis by having some sort of revision weekly within the class! (example: one person must revise three different people with no more than three revisions)
- Unfortunately, I do not have any prior experience creating wikis. However, by creating one, I believe it'd be a great in-class experience!

What I Did Over The Weekend in a Nutshell!
Over my four-day weekend, I managed to accomplish much more than expected. Although I spent a majority of my weekend buried with homework assignments, I also visited my father's side of the family. The greatest part when visiting my dad's relatives was meeting my cousin's new baby girl! However, despite how adorable she was, there was a greater accomplishment, I managed to launch my own organization, Provoke Prosperity. On Saturday, I spent most of my day at the Hoboken Shelter where I represented Provoke Prosperity while helping the needy create and expand on job resumes. With launching Provoke Prosperity on Saturday, I also taught them the importance of networking and applying themselves. It was all inspired by a speech of success and desire!
The speech that inspired Provoke Prosperity!

Editorials. Many of you may have heard the term before but what exactly is it? Editorials are articles that present an opinion tied in with valuable information. Many editorials can be found online, in newspapers, or even magazines. For instances, I'm sure most "fangirls" have seen these before, such as the latest "Do's and Do Not's" of fashion featuring their favorite celebs! But don't worry boys, editorials are in sports too! Sometimes people may read "recaps" and not realize their editorials! In the end it's all about the opinion created.
This brings us to our next subject of the feared Wikipedia! Some of us may have heard our teachers forbid the idea of using it as a source. Their reasoning would be that it is not considered a scholarly or a credible source. Some teachers even say it's absolutely preposterous and shouldn't be considered a credible source due to the fact that "anyone" can edit. However, every teaching style is different with different reasoning to not allow the use of Wikipedia, Although some may overlook that all information added requires a citation or credible source, some may just prefer scholarly articles overall found within databases. All in all, I personally believe that the use of scholarly articles within databases is what is expected at the collegiate level and that most teachers are trying to prep their students for collegiate expectations
